This inaugural event, developed for the Latin American and
Caribbean Region, is derived from the successful Defense Leaders
Forum series supporting the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
This forum
will focus on key
national security challenges facing defense and public safety
leaders and how Information Technology (IT) can contribute to
solutions.
Military, government, and non-government operational and IT leaders from across the Latin American, Caribbean and other regions of the world, joined by senior industry representatives, will assemble to discuss key learnings and approaches to current and future operational challenges, as well as the role of IT in improving command and control (C2), situational awareness, and the expanding need for military-civil cooperation in the areas of counter-narcotic and counter-terrorism operations, cyber defense, and disaster preparedness.
The event will be packed with rich content, including a variety of keynote presentations and interactive panels to address the state and future of efforts supporting these key operational areas. Ample time is also provided for networking and colleague discussion throughout the Forum.
